I officially signed up to take my GRE (Graduate Record Examination) Test yesterday. I'm starting to feel old. The thought that by December I will be a college graduate is insane. I am still too indecisive to decided on what I want my future career to be, but I know that I want Grad school to be in my future. The whole thing is in God's hands. I can prepare all I want but in the end, He will decide what is best for me =] At least that detail puts a smile on my face! If there is anything I am good it, it may be not stressing too much about my future. Some may call it being too lax, but I will refer to it as "giving it up to Christ" and therefore taking no part in worrying.
Thoughts about future schools for my Masters:

Green with envy
(Red heads always look the best in green!)
Tell the man in your life to dress like this for St. Patrick's Day! It's Eco Friendly =]
Hello cuties,
Do you like to decorate for St. Patty's day? I think I may try one or two of these ideas this year. What about you?
Galatians 6:9
I am 22 today. It's funny to think of all that I have accomplished in my life thus far. But I can't help worrying about what my future looks like. I want to put all of my faith in the Lord- knowing that He has my best interest at heart. I want God to continue to keep my life sweet and special. I want to be the best wife I can be, even though it may be hard. Why is it hard to be nice sometimes? Why do I have to constantly think about ways to show my husband that I love him dearly, would lay down my life for him in an instant, or just flat out show him all of the respect he deserves? Why can't that all come naturally? Why do I worry about what God has in store for me in regards to a career?
This week I have been talking with God--alot. Not necessarily asking him for things, but trying to explain to Him why I want the things I want. I just cannot get it through my head as to why after all of these years praying for my brother to become a Christian, there has been no progress. I don't see why my brother is so set on not believing there is a Savior out there for him, that absolutely loves him, even with all of his faults. I think his crappy childhood and having endured so much pain in his life makes him refuse to think a loving God could allow those things to happen. The worst part is he is such a sweet brother. He loves me so much and tells me everytime I talk to him that he is so proud of me, but I still want so much more from him. I want him to share my faith, to have conversations with me about God's enduring love, and I want him to be in Heaven with me one day.
I need to be reminded of this:
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Foodie Weekend
I'm really excited for this weekend. I will be helping my friend, Dottie, with her "WINE" themed birthday get together and my hubby and I are going to our married couples group (I promise, it's less gay than it sounds!) and it's our turn to bring din din. Can you say gooey, cheesy
So needless to say this will be me on Sunday!
But I really am excited to get to hang out with Dot! I feel like I have been in hibernation for the past month and a half and haven't gotten to spend time having fun with friends. So, here's what I'll be bringing to the soiree.
Yummy sparkling pink lemonade
BRUSCHETTA

Dottie LOVES Caprese!
And here's what I'm bringing to couples group:
Delicious cheese fondue
Ahhh, its so good!

Dumb Egg Suit & Valentine's night
I have the best hubby in the world!!! I honestly thought he did not care much about Valentine's Day because he didn't ask me what I wanted to do and I thought we wouldn't have any time to go on a date since he is Student Teaching and working sooo much =[ But he stole me away for a night last night and we got some lots of sushi and went to the movies. Really funny because we saw three other couples that were at sushi in the same movie with us. Popular date idea I guess =] Then we came home and watched the Grammy's. Does anyone else feel sorry for Lady GaGa and Nikki Minaj or is it just me?! I mean, I feel really sorry for them because they have to dress/act like morons just to keep people interested in them. Who the hell shows up in a freakin' egg suit and completely copies Madonna with their performances??? Can you say "Express Yourself" Part 2? Not gonna lie though- I love gettin' down to their muuuzacck! What are your plans???
Muh gifts:
YOU SEE THIS? How awesome is that?? SO much delicious chocolate!!!!
Really excited to try the Chilies and Cherry Bar =]
How cute are these shorts? I'm really excited for it to warm up so I can wear these funky 70s print shorts
Yay, for a husband who knows what I need. I haven't been able to listen to my own music at the gym because I lost my headphones, so my sweetie bought me some new ones!
This was the very first thing Max made me open. He told me to close my eyes, and put this somewhat heavy bag in my hand but he told me not to open it until I could guess what C.S. meant. So after a couple unsuccessful guesses including "Chicken Sauce, Chocolate Sauce, and Chocolate Sticks" I gave up. Thats when Max let me know it stood for "chocolate stash" and when I got a craving for chocolate I would have some on hand. What a smoochie!!
AND.... my ABSOLUTE favorite- purple tulips!!!
...
..... and some extra for the guest bathroom =]
Enjoy some sweet, sweet lovin' tonight!!

*So this is the list I made when I was 16 years old for a man I wanted God to place in my life to marry one day. How funny is this?! (And it was definately done in Crayola marker) I'll let you read it yourself, but my favs are:
1. Loves God
14. Doesn't indulge in sweets too often (because I am such a freak and have the BIGGEST sweet tooth. It was so crazy when I first started dating Max and realized he basically doesn't like sweets at all. How funny of a prayer request for God to answer)
25. Dark, straight hair (Again, how silly! But I don't feel too bad considering Max has told me he prayed for certain physical characteristics he wanted his wife to have and God answered that ;)
33. Pushes me mentally and physically (SO true!)
See this cute black and white croqueted flower on my sweater?? This was worn on my bestie's wedding day a couple weeks ago and I just haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad to wear it today. I really miss her!!

Feeling straaaaaange
SOOOO, I don't like how I've been feeling lately. It's in a state of complete restlessness. I feel like there is so much on my plate. I feel like I'm waiting for something BIG to happen. I don't get it. Is it that I feel like I'm useless because every second of my life is not consumed with planning a wedding?? I don't know-- BUT it's really bugging me. I wish I had either one of my best friends living near to me. I wish that my little sister wasn't screwing up her life without realizing it. And I wish that I was content. I feel like I have so much weight on my shoulders, but none of it means anything. Do you ever have those days? Like nothing you do matters? Maybe I'm just being silly. Maybe school has something to do with it? It just feels like I don't have time to do the things I really want to do. And it doesn't help that I basically am getting NO quality time with Max right now. This whole student teaching thing SUCKS! I hate that it feels like he has two jobs and I only get to see him at night and a little on the weekends. I want to g on a honeymoon again! Is three months too soon for another one??!!
