So this was officially the worst day I've ever had. And I really don't like complaining- but this is the honest truth!
SO I have been coughing and blowing my nose a lot the past couple of days, but I felt absolutely terrible today. Which is very strange because I never get sick. Anyway, I went to school around 8:30 this morning to go to the wellness center because I had a terrible headache on top of my other symptoms and because I didn't have an appoinment I had to wait until 10am. Did I mention I had a midterm today at 10am? Ughh! Well I did- so I told the receptionist this and we had to reschedule my appoinment to 11am. 3 more hours feeling like complete crap? So I went back to my car and decided I was going to sleep until my class started, so I did. But as soon as I woke up my headache had turned into a migraine and I was now super nauseous. So I walked to class as slow as a turtle, only staring at the cement in front of me because I was sure I was going to vomit. Making it to class without throwing up was a huge surprise. So nevertheless I took my midterm, which was super duper easy (thank you Lord) and made my way back to the UNLV wellness center at turtle pace. When I got there I saw a nurse who prescribed me three different medications and told me to go home and get some rest because I looked like I needed it. I know people don't mean to hurt your feelings when they say you look tired, but for some reason it still hurts me. Oh well! So after I got done seeing her I went to the pharmacy down the hall and waited for the pharmacist to give me my medicine. I was so nauseous at this point that I couldn't stand straight and began shaking and swaying back and forth and told the pharmacist I had to sit down and for her just to call me up when she was done. From the chair I was sitting in I called my fiancee, Max, and told him I was feeling so terrible that he might have to come pick me up and drive me home and I told him I would call him back after I left the pharmacy. So then the pharmacist called me up when she was ready for me and I paid for my medicine and headed back to my car. As soon as I reached the drivers side door of my car I began throwing this nasty green watery stuff that was probably acid because I hadn't eaten anything at this point and it was 12 pm. So I jumped in my car, avoiding the vomit and called Max to come get me. Then I fell asleep until he got there with our friend Lucas. Poor sweet Lucas had the wonderful task of driving my car back to my house. So it was safe to say as I made my way into Max's car I was in sheer horror at the fact that Lucas had to jump over my puke to drive my car. I finally got home and my brother met me inside and asked what happened to me because I looked awful. He always tells me his honest opinion so this didn't bother me as much. I made my way to my bed and asked him if he could make me oatmeal and he said sure. He brought me up some oatmeal. I could only eat a few spoonfuls because of my stomach so I slept for three hours. When I woke up my migraine had gotten worse and I felt dizzy and my head was throbbing incontrollably so I asked my brother for a neck and head massage and he said sure. He's going to make a great husband one day. After the massage I went back to sleep for four more hours and ate the rest of my oatmeal. Finally my migraine was gone!!
Je deteste etre mauvais- Adieu.

Honeymoon of your Dreams
So my friend, Nicole, gave this awesome book at my engagement party called "The Honeymoon of your Dreams." I read two chapters today and I can't wait to finish the rest...even though I'm going to have to. Darn 237 more days!!! It's okay I'm sure I will learn some awesome things along the way =] This book is really cool though and I high recommend it to anyone who will go on a honeymoon one day.
So far the things that have sparked my interest have been that this book gives you some insight on how the honeymoon is so misinterpreted among our society and the only thing people seem to associate with it is sex. There's so much more! I think I'm really going to like this book because for a long time that along with the accomadations is the only thing I would ever think about concerning my own honeymoon- not the fact that it is the first week of my marriage and is the starting point of it. Whoa! I'm glad I'm going to be learning something new, though, because it really is super discouraging when a lot of my married friends only talk about the "sex" factor and not the actual marriage. That's kinda shallow to me. Two Christians need more advice than just sex tips. But enough complaining from me!
I'm super sleepy today. Goodnight!
Adieu Jolie.

21st B-Day!!!
So yesterday I turned 21 and enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing day with my family and bridesmaids at David's Bridal. We picked out the bridesmaids dresses all of the girls would wear. Julie couldn't go since she is in California, but I sent her a picture message of all of the dresses and she gave me her input- Oh technology! It's pretty neat because I think all of my bridesmaids will be wearing a different dress just all in the same color. Kind of fun and quirky.
After we got done picking out the dresses for the wedding I rushed home and got ready for my birthday date with my man! I felt so adorable in my burgundy ruffled dress! As soon as I got to Max's we hopped in his car where my gift was waiting for me. It was wrapped in a cute white Euphoria bag with a card sticking out. The card had a cute dog lounging on its back on the front and inside it said "This birthday you should enjoy some pampering!" along with some cute mushy stuff I will spare you. And he says he doesn't think he's that romantic? Pssh! Inside the bag was a white box and inside that white box was a gift card to Euphoria!! Max is the BEST fiancee in the whole world. So after we opened the gift we headed to the M where the restaurant we ate at was. Veloce Cibo- soo yummy. The place is beautiful. Lemon trees everywhere amongst dark wood designs and an incredible view of the strip. I ordered macadamia nut encrusted scallops and sweet potatoe fries and Max ordered organic chicken with butternut squash on the side with Macaroni and Cheese and we both shared mini lobster tacos for the appetizer- a great meal together. One of our favorite things! I highly recommend it- the M resort, 16th floor. After dinner the server brought out two chocolate covered strawberries for me with a chocolate rectangle that said "happy birthday!" I love food.
After dinner we went back to Max's and there waiting for me on the dining room table was two cards, a cute pink teddy bear and a bag of Lindor dark chocolates. My friends Joe and David had bought me gifts! I have some really great friends. After opening the gifts all of us headed down to 3 Tomatoes and a Mozzarella where all of my friends and some of my family would be singing karoake . The night was amazing! I loved watching my brother, Art, and Max rap together, Randy sing Tom Jones, Jessie dedicate Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever" to me, watching Lucas dance with my mom and aunt, and Max, Randy, Joe, and David sing "God must have spent a little more time" to me! I also walked away with some great gifts too- Season 5 of The Office, strawberry daiquiri bath salt, 3 bottles of wine, a cork remover, really cool wine glasses, a coupon holder, along with a great night with my friends!
After karaoke, me, max, and my big brother and sister went to LAX. It was really fun, but super crowded. After an hour Max and I decided to leave because it was getting late, but the card ride home was great! I just kept telling him that was the best birthday ever and that I had so much fun. Thanks family, friends, and Max! I will remember last night forever!!

Engagement Party
So the engagement party went way better than expected. I thought for sure my dad would ruin it by embarrassing me- which surprisingly did not happen. Probably due to all of the prayer that went into it before hand. I just had to remember to not be anxious, but to ask God for it to go smoothly- which it totally did.
The food was DELISH!! We had cheese fondue with veggies, apples, and crackers. There was also meatballs, garlic butternut squash soup, and yummu chicken salad. And for dessert we had chocolate fondue with fruit and my mom brought a cake with a picture of me and Thomas for our birthday. It was so mindblowing to see Max and my family get along and talk and laugh for hours. My future mother in law, Jill, did such a good job! I love her! At the party she pulled me aside and said, "Drea, if I ever had a daughter I would want her to be just like you." OH my gosh, right- SO cute!!
So all of this food was amazing and I felt so pretty wearing my black dress my mom had bought me that day, but what made it even better was the gifts! I'm getting married and turned 21 that night- and I get gifts on top of everything else?! I'm SO grateful and blessed. Max's aunt Joni got me a cute Lolita martini glass that said 21 all over it along with cute post it notes that said "Wedding To-Do List" on the top of it, and Nicole and Ben gave me a book "The Honeymoon of your Dreams" and the best gift of the entire night came from Jill and Mike. They got me pearls!! Pearl earrings with a pearl necklace and a pearl bracelet! The thought of crying that night had only entered my mind if my dad had ended up ruining the night, but at the moment I opened their gift tears swelled in my eyes. It was the perfect night. Having my whole family there and them getting along with Max's family was the only thing I could have ever asked for.

March fourth an orange colored day!
I watched Amelie with my brother, Thomas. He's the best, I love him very much- we turn 21 in two days. We don't have too many things in common but movies are our special bond. It can literally go from a French subtitled movie to a crazy 80's disco movie featuring Olivia Newton-John which will remain nameless fir the mere fact that it so too embarassing to South Park to Disney Princess movies.
I got to talk to my bestfriend, Julie, today! I miss her so much :/
my engagement party is tomorrow- kind if nervous, but mostly excited that God's bringing Max and my family together to meet. I hope my Dad doesn't act embarrassing. He has good intentions but they're full of lies. Please let it go well Lord!
I'm getting married!!! I still can't believe I'm marrying the man of my dreams.
An orange colored day.

French Future
I really want to go France one day. I'm not sure why exactly- sure my dad is French so you might think I would have that connection atleast, but I don't. My fiancé said he'll come with me because I want to go but it's the last place he would ever want to go.. Ouch. He's lucky I completely adore him
otherwise I might be upset. Doesn't he know about those gorgeous, warm, little croissants with creamy, hazelnutty Nutella smeared all over them? Once I get there I am going to be SO stinkin' excited to eat though- French food is supposed to be the best in the world. That probably is my favorite thing about being a human- eating. Well atleast until I get married. But seriously my favorite parts in movies are the parts where people are eating. Take Chocolat for example. I have probably seen that movie around 60 times but do you think that stopped me from renting it last week and watching it five times and skipping chapters to get to the
parts where people are enjoying their chocolate? Of course not.
Not excited for Political Science tonight. Why is it every
political science teacher I know belittles Christians and Republicans. That makes me 0 for 2 but his opinion obviously equals bird crap compared to My Saviors.
Adieu bebe.
