Warm Sundays

Today was a very good day! At church this morning we met our new lead pastor for this first time. His name is Kevin Wehr and he seems like an awesome, young, spunky guy. Very different from what I am used to, but I'm sure he'll be awesome and God will use him in great ways here. After church I went to Panera with Max and one of his YoungLife guys, Shan. We saw the cutest little girl there that was dressed in a little sailor dress and looked like she just came from church. I'm so excited for when I have kids and can dress them up so cute! After Panera I went home and took a much needed nap and awoke refreshed and ready to work on some homework. Thank goodness for Pandora! I don't think I could get through most of my homework without it hehe. After writing my paper I decided to look at online save the dates that Max and I could use since we had been talking about it yesterday. Not really liking the designs from Evite, I did some more research and stumbled upon Hallmarks online invitations- they were so stinking cute. If anyone is interested they have a great program called Smilebox that is free or if you would like to upgrade or add a few of your own quirks it an additional couple dollars but VERY reasonable! After picking out some designs that I really liked I added my own pictures to them and came over to Max's house to show him the ones I had picked out. He really liked two of them so now we just have to narrow it down to one.

After making some brownies it was time for us to head out to leadership where the main focus tonight was praying for future leaders and kids we would be taking to camp. I'm pretty sad that I can't go to camp this year because of the wedding but I know God will work through my other leaders and the kids will get a great glimpse of a relationship with Christ and hopefully meet him there.

I am now writing from Max's living room that is full of five boys with whom I have just made dinner. I really had fun doing it though- kinda lame I know. But its nice to know they loved it and that they were grateful. The dinners included: peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for one, chicken with mushroom sauce and peas for two, beef broccoli for one, and brownies for one [im not sure this counts as dinner but oh well ;) ] I am having a ton of fun watching all of the boys go nuts over the crazy wrestling video game they're playing. Ugh now they're about to watch UFC- barf! oh well it's getting late so...

adieu!
