It was so fulfilling to me and I know it was to her as well. To be there during her excited anxiety, her calm tears, her tearful and perfect vows, and everything in between was an honor. It was an honor to be her matron of honor
Her vintage, lace ivory gown laying against the shimmering snow was the most beautiful thing. She embodied pure confidence as she walked down the aisle to her man, her husband. I wish that I could have seen her face while she was reciting her vows, but it was almost even more special to me that I stood behind her and had the perfect view of Tanner's face. Tanner's face was mush as he held in his big crocodile tears, until it was his turn to recite his. He held in his cries and loudly shouted that Jess would now become his first priority above all his earthly things. And I love Jessie's last two lines of her vows and still can't recite them in my head without crying.
I will never give up on you,
I will never give up on us.
Ahhhh, can you say cry fest? As Max and I laid down to go to sleep that night, we both said that was our favorite part of the vows.
So needless to say it was an amazing representation of God's love for us.
And needless to say, I may or may not be planning a 5 yr anniversary ceremony so I can borrow
